Named for the hometown of the owners' parents, Wen Cheng specializes in Biang Biang noodles in addition to their signature, Wen Cheng noodles. Both locations, just 2km apart, fill up quickly, so make sure to get a spot in line! 

Just as Julius says themselves, they specialize in coffee, food, and wine. Acting as a cafe and brunch spot throughout the day, Julius transforms into a thoroughly curated dinner restaurant well worth visiting. Produce is sourced from a network of local suppliers, so menus change weekly. Stop by soon and often!

When dining at Ernst, think less of going to a restaurant and more of dining in someone's kitchen. This eight-seat chefs counter experience (yes, experience, and make sure to book your ticket asap) is sure to delight. 

Getting that perfect view can be a rarity, but Caffe Ciampini is perfectly situated for you to enjoy the views over the span of your meal. Come for lunch and see the city of for dinner and enjoy the twinkle of the lights. 

These days, most coffee spots start to feel the same, but thankfully not Toki. The killer coffee & terrazzo everything make this place totally Instagrammable. But luckily style & substance go hand-in-hand at Toki. The food, dreamed up by plant-based culinary artist Chef NANA, is excellent, as are the pastries. Bring your laptop or a book & settle in for the day.

There’s something incredibly appealing about a true local haunt, a place where the familiar faces hang on weekday evenings or weekend afternoons. Buurtcafé de Tros is a particularly charming iteration of “the local”. Come by if you’re in the mood for fresh, interesting natural wines, creative small plates and, our go-to order, a very good smash burger. As expected, the tables get filled fast, so make sure to reserve a table in advance although the terrace remains walk-in only. 

Whether you go à la carte or full whammy with the tasting menu, you can bet that OMAR won't disappoint. It's family style; as the fried gnocchi with buttermilk and marjoram and monkfish lathered in a seafood bisque and gooseberries find their way onto your table, be prepared to share! If the sun is out, this spot is also a wine hangout; order a glass of orange to keep you going before dinner!

You may be tired of hearing about rotating menus but reading up on the upcoming dishes that Dzidra will rustle up is impossibly exciting. From green dashimaki, pissaladière served with a crispy green salad, to its classic scrambled eggs and rice bowls, the range is exceptional. What is more, with its recent extension, queuing for a table is that bit easier! 

AMATOR dishes up delicious grub in a design-forward, Japanese-minimalist space, curated by Mati Pichi (the man behind its cacio ai cicnque pepi omelette) and created by wiercinski-studio. Food is served on burnt orange Le Creuset serving dishes, water is poured from Niko June jugs that double up as bouquet vases, and coffee is sipped from the Polish-based Madga Jugo ceramics. 

If aesthetics is what you're after then a trip to BeitSalma is a must. The food is sensational. Pop by for breakfast or lunch, and you'll most likely be heading back for a coffee and pistachio bun. 

Their dreamy marble sculpture garden is enough of a reason to visit this museum, but its magnificent high ceilings, botanic features and carefully curated exhibitions are truly the quintessence of the Glyptotek.
