But luckily style & substance go hand-in-hand at Toki. The food, dreamed up by plant-based culinary artist Chef NANA, is excellent, as are the pastries. Too young. Too young! The owners of Troppo Giovane (“too young”, in Italian) declared. The team at this super cool yet very friendly wine shop wants to encourage drinkers to move away from the newness that’s popular in many wine stores and embrace true age-worthy bottles. Their selection focuses mostly on Italian and French producers, but they’ve also got a nice, tight selection of orange wines, sake, mezcal and cider.

With so many people already working remotely & more transitioning to that working from home lifestyle by the day, the work week can get a little monotonous. We adore this arthouse cinema, which just so happens to be the oldest in the city, because if its well-curated selection of both interesting, independent films & quality blockbusters. After a recent revamp, this cinema is back and better than ever. We've never been more excited to sit quietly in the dark for hours on end.
