Edinburgh, or 'Auld Rekkie' as proud Scots affectionately call it, holds a very special place in our hearts. This is an ode to the cobbled streets and old stone buildings of Scotland's capital city. Rich in history, it's fast becoming a place of magnificent gastronomy (even if haggis, neeps and tatties are not on your plate every day!)

The sister of Aizle, Noto and LYLA, three of Edinburgh's top dining gems, tipo's motto "we make delicious food" rings simple but true. Small plates of zeppole topped generously with freshly-shaved pecorino and ever-so-crispy lamb fritte with a white anchovy crumb have us coming back for more. What really steals the show however are the hearty bowls of pasta.
