From the family of the beloved 40 Maltby Street comes Café Deco: a restaurant, bar and wine shop satisfying all of our natural vino and sharing plate cravings. From small plates (their cod fritters are a must) to hearty dishes for one, the food is fresh, seasonal, and forever a tasty surprise. If the sun is out, head for a pre-dinner glass on the terrace and soak up the true, ambience of this neighbourhood spot.

A menu that proves museum restaurants can be so much more than glorified cafeterias. It was designed by award-winning architect Brady Williams and is perched at the top of The National Portrait Gallery, but the ingredient-led menu by Irish chef Richard Corrigan makes it a destination in its own right. And the views are good too.
