One of the oldest jazz clubs outside Paris, Club les 5 rues is a Megève classic. Pop in and become part of festive local nightlife.

A mountain restaurant where emotion reigns supreme, Flocons de Sel is the gem of the beautiful hotel in which it's situated. The rooms are cosy and expansive, and the staff is super friendly.

Tucked on the rue Saint-François, Flocons Village is the second restaurant opened by 3-star chef Emmanuel Renaut in Megève. This charming restaurant serves up no-nonsense, gourmet, local cuisine.

Soak up a little culture in the heart of Megève. Galerie Daltra is a lovely contemporary art space that presents a nice mix of everything from photography to urban art. Entrance to the gallery is free.

This temple of alpine gastronomy compiles the best of French, Italian and of course Savoyard produce. Including a game pâté with porcini mushrooms, a mixture of fondue from Maître Boujon or a fish soup from the Alpine lakes.

Tucked away inside the Four Seasons Megève, La Dame de Pic – Le 1920 is a fantastic spot for elevated Japanese cuisine. With one Michelin star, it's no wonder the food is great and service stellar.

Seasonal products are the stars here at La Ferme Saint-Amour. This charming renovated farmhouse is the ideal spot for a warm, cosy dinner with friends.

If you're in Mégeve outside of the ski season, things can feel quite quiet, but we think that's actually a great thing. When the weather is nice, spend a day splashing about in Lac de Javen. Idyllic!

Le Bistrot de l'Alpaga has a sophisticated bistronomic menu created with market-bought ingredients: quirky fish dishes, beautifully dressed meats and very decadent desserts are accompanied with super-cool cocktails.

A classic on-the-slopes mountain restaurant, Le Cœur d'Or is perched at 1,525 metres at the top of the Beauregard gondola, equally beloved by skiers in winter and hikers in summer. The rustic chalet serves generous Savoyard comfort dishes – including fondue, tartiflette, croûtes and pela – best enjoyed on the sunny terrace before carving back down. In the evening, it transforms into a cosy alpine experience reached by snowmobile, with set dinners and a magical descent under the stars. 

A café. A brasserie. A cocktail bar. Le Hibou Blanc does it all. We love this cosy, family-friendly spot for a casual dinner whenever we're in Megève.

Le Piaf brings the exuberant spirit of its Parisian namesake to the Alps in a theatrical chalet imagined by Dion & Arles. Inside, brushed softwoods, embroidered alpine textiles, hanging rugs, vintage chandeliers, and corduroy velvet create a cocooning, mountain-chic setting around the fireplace. Start your evening by the piano bar with cocktails and refined small bites – taramas, mini croque-monsieurs, and smoked salmon – before settling into the restaurant for comforting French classics such as foie gras salad, roast chicken in jus, beef tenderloin with fries and a decadent chocolate mousse.

We adore this cosy mountain bistro for the views as much as the insanely good Savoie specialties. Grab a table outside if the weather is good or snuggle up inside the wood-panelled main room.
