Hart's is the kind of place where you can easily become a regular. With a simple and elegant ever-changing menu, this gem offers delicious Mediterranean-leaning food and natural wines. Our favourite on the menu? The pork Milanese, without a doubt.

Tucked away on an intimate little side street in the Jordaan is this lovely, intimate wine bar. The incredibly friendly staff will gently guide you through the spectacular wine list & suggest the best of their delicious small plates to go along with whatever you decide to sip. No matter your choice, you are sure to be pleasantly surprised, but we particularly love the sardines & the roasted leeks.

This speciality wine shop sells imported natural wines from all over the world. It offers a comprehensive tasting menu and in-store events, and can often be found at their sister restaurant Alex + Pinard. 

It’s pretty tough to pick favourites in our wonderful city, but, if pressed, we might go out on a limb and say that Café de Wetering is our very favourite bar in Amsterdam. It’s the true definition of gezellig. There’s a roaring fireplace upstairs and plenty of games to keep you entertained if the beers aren’t quite doing it.

Whether you're checking in for the weekend or popping into the vibey restaurant downstairs for a weekday lunch (the food is solid but not mind-blowing), Morgan & Mees never disappoints. It's chic and subdued with friendly staff all around.

A sweet chic little pizza joint that focuses on the importance of the crust that is essential to ensuring the best foundation for the pizza. We know this is controversial, but we think the crust is just as good as the toppings!

Get ready to take a breath & relax, as this traditional healing massage parlour wants you to focus on energy flow & slowing down. Once you arrive at An Chi Massage Lounge, you’ll feel truly transported, as it is like no other place in Amsterdam we know. Their tailor-made treatments are inspired by different spiritual schools of thought (think Buddhism, Taoism & Confucianism), so choose what resonates with you most.

Every Saturday without fail, you will inevitably find us with a few canvas tote bags absolutely bursting with fresh produce and gourmet delicacies. Where have we been? Noordermarkt. Come early to ensure the freshest bounty of local breads, cheeses, and that day's harvested vegetables. If you're not in need of any munchable delights, there is also a host of stalls peddling vintage furs, antique trinkets, and home crafted decor. 

Taking over a space from a beloved restaurant can be tricky, as the old ardent supporters are likely to lament the changeover. Miraculously, Restaurant Watergang has managed to fill the very big shoes of La Cacerola. The table d'hote menu at Restaurant Watergang changes monthly and focuses on inventive takes on hearty comfort food classics. The service is friendly & attentive without being overbearing, so it's a great spot for a long, tranquil dinner.
