A self-described 'cornucopia of baked goods,' SALVO is perhaps best renowned for its classic maritozzi's. Though if you ask our friend Athena, you can never go wrong with a specialty matcha and pistachio cookie to dunk in. 

Located in this iconic, former police station Time & Style is as much an architectural delight as it is gallery and furniture store. Exhibiting the very finest of Japanese interiors, pop on by for a spot of window shopping, inspiration, and - in our view - some of the most enviable furniture you could ask for. 

You’ll forget all about bikes and bitterballen as soon as you cross the threshold at Akitsu, one of the best Japanese restaurants in town. They have a broad menu of yakitori, sushi, warm dishes and more, and they do just about everything very, very well (including takeaway!). Though it’s not the most comfortable seat in the house, we love booking one of the traditional low tables. Shoes off, snacks on!
