The Mallow Garden is as aesthetic as the name suggests. As a weekly playgroup for parents, babies and toddlers this is a fabulous spot to let your little bairns run free. Focusing only on holistic and creative learning you can be sure to expect lots of play, storytelling, and time embracing Amsterdam's nature. 

Taking over a space from a beloved restaurant can be tricky, as the old ardent supporters are likely to lament the changeover. Miraculously, Restaurant Watergang has managed to fill the very big shoes of La Cacerola. The table d'hote menu at Restaurant Watergang changes monthly and focuses on inventive takes on hearty comfort food classics. The service is friendly & attentive without being overbearing, so it's a great spot for a long, tranquil dinner.

Both the beans of the espresso and filter coffee (which are roasted in-house) change on a regular basis, so you’ll always have something fresh and exciting to drink when you’re here. They also serve up a wonderful range of sweet and savoury snacks, so it’s easy to idle away the afternoon. What is more, there's also a 'puppycino' for all the pups in town. 

Though we’re suggesting you come here for lunch, there's never a time of day that Buffet van Odette doesn't draw us in. The space is beautiful, with a lovely little terrace outside, and the truffle cheese omelette is the stuff of legends here in Amsterdam. Settle in for a delicious lunch, a fantastic glass of wine, and while away the afternoon.
