Taking over a space from a beloved restaurant can be tricky, as the old ardent supporters are likely to lament the changeover. Miraculously, Restaurant Watergang has managed to fill the very big shoes of La Cacerola. The table d'hote menu at Restaurant Watergang changes monthly and focuses on inventive takes on hearty comfort food classics. The service is friendly & attentive without being overbearing, so it's a great spot for a long, tranquil dinner.

The Mallow Garden is as aesthetic as the name suggests. As a weekly playgroup for parents, babies and toddlers this is a fabulous spot to let your little bairns run free. Focusing only on holistic and creative learning you can be sure to expect lots of play, storytelling, and time embracing Amsterdam's nature. 

It’s pretty tough to pick favourites in our wonderful city, but, if pressed, we might go out on a limb and say that Café de Wetering is our very favourite bar in Amsterdam. It’s the true definition of gezellig. There’s a roaring fireplace upstairs and plenty of games to keep you entertained if the beers aren’t quite doing it.

There’s vintage clothing, and then there’s vintage clothing. And if you’re after the serious stuff – think classic Missoni, covetable Celine and old school Prada – Tamago is the place to be. If you’re looking to earn a little before you spend a little, Tamago is ideal, as they consign pristine designer clothes, doing all the work for you. Dream!
