For our friends Jennifer, Sophia & Ramón, a lunch at El Preferido de Palermo is the best, hands down. A taverna since 1952 this beautiful pink restaurant is as eye-catching on the exterior as it is in the interior. Whilst the meats and charcuterie is a must, the veg grown on the kitchen allotments is just as tasty. 

It comes to no surprise that to nab a spot at Don Julio, you have to book well, well in advance. Rated the number one parilla in the world, a visit to this world-renowned meat-lovers heaven is an experience in itself. 

On the hunt for an intimate, chilled restaurant? Head to Gran Dabbang for fusion small plates inspired by the chef's travels that are made with local fresh Argentine ingredients. Don't miss the Swiss chard pakoras with carrot chutney.

Swing by this charming wine bar for piles of fresh homemade sourdough, plates of charcuterie and plump nocerella olives to be served alongside some excellent local wines. Their weekly wine tastings and informative classes are the perfect introduction to Argentine wine.
