A family-run affair, Mouratos Bakery is a spot for locals and tourists alike. Grab a morning coffee, a few of their pittarakia (a speciality!) to snack on throughout the day before heading down to Sarakiniko. Overestimate how many you pick up; they're so tasty, we guarantee you will want another!

A fishing harbour-cum-beach, head to Firopotamos for another fabulously secluded oasis. Wander amongst the syrmata and visit the small church in the village until the water becomes too irresistible and you have to take a dip!

Though snagging a spot at this spot in Plaka can sometimes prove slightly difficult, the wait is worth it even if just for the sunset views alone. Keep it local and order an ouzo over ice or jazz it up with one of the many, many cocktails on the menu.
