Situated on Skeppsholmen island, the Moderna Museet houses a prominent collection of art from the twentieth century to today (including Picasso, Dali, Derkert & Matisse). This stunning museum, designed by Spanish architect Rafael Moneo, also has a fab museum shop.

Focusing on both modern & contemporary art, the museum houses the Caldic Collection, the largest private art collection in the Netherlands. The design was inspired by the Danish Louisiana Museum of Modern Art.

Chill & down-to-earth, Gertrude is quintessentially Amsterdam. Though it’s new to the dining scene in the city, it feels like one of those places that we’ve been going to for years. The combination of warm service, a carefully considered wine list & a sun-drenched terrace makes Gertrude an especially lovely place to go for a ‘heerlijke’ bite & a crisp ‘wijntje’. 

Bar Agrikultur is the casual sister restaurant of Agrikultur. We love it for its fresh, tasty small plates showcasing the best of local produce.
