It cannot get more intimate than Nona; you're basically eating at the home of chef Julia. A proud Sicilian, she is determined to share the homestyle Italian cooking she grew up with. Getting a reservation is near impossible (but we highly encourage you try!).  

Cool, hip, trendy, funky, swinging, groovy. Café Bleu is the place to be. Head here for the classic small-plates-and-natty-wine combo. You know the drill by now! 

Whether you are looking for the perfect brunch spot or want to sip a glass of natural wine and delicious dinner, Café Bartine is the place to be. Try their Turkish eggs; they are the best!! Head to their bakery for fresh baked goods, but if you do not want to make the trek, no worries! They have a selection at the café as well. Sit on their lovely terrace during the summer. 

While there are innumerable inspiring museums in the Netherlands—the Rijks, the Stedelijk, Kröller Müller—there is only one that specialises in sculpture: Museum Beelden aan Zee. Founded in 1994 by collectors Theo and Lida Scholten, the museum shows a beautiful collection of both international and Dutch sculpture in a stunning villa by the sea.
