The owners of the wine bar Pompette have come up with the most eccentric idea of opening up a fried chicken shop across from their well-known natural wine bar, as there is no pairing like it! After a night of heavy pours, you can get the yummiest and crispiest fried chicken sandwiches a stone's throw away.
Two of our favourite things: coffee and sandwiches. And not just any old sandwich. At Doomsday, oven roasted aubergine is doused in a miso paste dressing and topped with cilantro mayo, pickled onion and rocket and the curried egg salad is piled high on homemade sourdough. If this doesn't become your regular, we'd be surprised.
