Fusing together a passion for architecture, graphic design, and textiles, Bertony Da Silva has created a fashion house that is effortlessly cool, timeless, and comfortable. Just stepping into the store in Antwerp can take your breath away what with the wood panelled walls and metallic floor. 

Pet nat and pastries? Yes please. Bakkerij Funk is new to the Antwerp food scene and we could not be happier. Serving freshly baked bread, plant-based pastries, good coffee, and terrific wine, come breakfast, lunch, or drinks we know where we're heading. It's called Funk for a reason. 

Sometimes dressing those little ones can be more exciting than dressing yourself, especially if you've got a wardrobe full of goodies from Brussel Kids. It's a shame they don't stock any adult sizes!

While it may not come to such a surprise that café canelé specialises in canelé, the range of flavours never fail to have us stuck in a decision dilemma. We recommended bringing a good book, trying a few and then ordering a box to take home. One can never have too many canelé!

What was once a working-class café, remains a neighborhood spot but now in the form of a equally casual, though hip restoration project. An à la carte menu that we can't have enough of, and a decor consisting of neon lights, net curtains, and large mirrors, we know this brown café has stolen our hearts!

Nab a seat at the bar for the ultimate mezcalería experience. Wooden bar stools, concrete-coated walls, a bar dotted with Mezcal bottles and plates of the most beautiful tacos we think we've laid eyes on. CAOS is a must. 

Sumptuous silks, cashmere knits and super soft denim: Christian Wijnants knows a thing or two when it comes to luxury fashion. With one of the two stores being in Antwerp (the other in Berlin) it's a must for that city-trip itinerary. 

Come the summer, when the sun is out and the skies blue, the terrace at Dôme Sur Mur is calling our name. Though, even if the weather is not on our side, the food and ambience at this place is enough to have us returning time and time again. 

Graanmarkt 13 is a beautiful concept store with cutting edge fashion and home decor, as well as an award-winning restaurant. The restaurant sources local, high-quality and sustainable products to create exquisite dishes that reflect global culinary trends.

It's not Hossegor or Biarritz, but Belgium has its fair few spots of surfer paradise alongside its ever-so slightly windswept coastline. All the gear, no idea? You definitely will be after popping in to HAVEN. 

If luxury is your thing head to Houben. Haute-couture at its finest and plenty of CELINE to feast your eyes upon. Is it worth the splurge? We think so. 

A place where clothing, art, architecture and design intersect, La Collection is an Antwerp-based fashion house dedicated to championing sustainable fabrics and artisanal craftsmanship to create timeless apparel. It also happens to be one of the most beautifully designed stores you'll ever step into.

For a guaranteed good night sleep all you need is some of Marie-Marie's super soft linens. Towels, duvet covers and pillowcase galore, this is a homeware dreamscape. 

Looking for a hearty bowl of pasta? Matobar is your answer. Serving the classics from tagliolini al tartufo nero, to paccheri alla Siciliana, the food is magnificent, and the ambience equally so. 

Celebrating traditional Turkish flavours, Ninja is a new hotspot within Antwerp. Delicious food, and a tremendous atmosphere, we will definitely be returning time and time again. 

Simone Rocha, 16 Arlington, D'Heygere, Paris Georgia. Basically Noise is your one-step-spot for finding all of those high-end brands. From party attire to chic in the city; go with an empty shopping bag prepared to be filled. 

Renée is not any old clothing store. It's an open space for personal styling, make-up workshops and skincare advice. A shopping experience made all the more enjoyable if you ask us. 

A listening bar and a great restaurant. Does it get better than that? Smudged is the place to bring your friends, your lovers or simply yourself for an evening of terrific wines, great cocktails, vinyl-after-vinyl and some stellar dishes, all rustled up in the open kitchen. 

On the hunt for that perfect outfit, whether it be your toddler to teen, head to SPACE for the most adorable clothing.

With a seasonal philosophy on both cooking and mixology, Tango is yet another neighbourhood spot that we wish was close to our abode. Order some plates to share (the sardines & tomatillo, and pumpkin tortellini an autumn must) and make yourself at home. 

It's not like any old bar. Hidden in a medieval alleyway is TAZU, a cocktail bar shaking drinks beyond the limit of your imagination into signatures beyond the realm of your imagination. It is fine drinking at its best. 

Might it just be the most aesthetic boutique in Antwerp? Quite possibly. The Menu is Louise Proot's new venture, and boy could we not be happier.
