It's Fashion Week, baby! A time where donning the outrageous is acceptable and not a second glance is given to the bolder-than-bold, the tulle and those gawk-able silks. But where do you go during those runway rests for much-needed downtime? When that glass of natural vino is calling, your taste buds need tickling and you're ready to let your hair down and let the boogie whisk you away, it's time to hit the streets.
We'd like to think that we've rounded up the crème de la crème of the big city. So here is our 24-hour round-up of how to do LFW like a local. And a trendy one at that.

If there's ever a time for excess it's during Fashion Week. So, naturally, where else would you stay than The Twenty Two? A place where the maximalist interiors match your OOTD and plush velvet takes centre stage, The Twenty Two's Cabochon marble bathrooms and wild William Morris wallpapers are sure to spark creativity.

We wouldn't be so surprised if breakfast had to be a quick, on-the-go affair. However, there's always time for a bakery run. Get your morning fill at Layla Bakery. A pistachio & choc pain Suisse or the seasonal Yuzu & crème fraiche bow tie? Yes, please.

What would a trip to London be without at least one KURO experience, whether it be at their bakery, coffee or eatery? With only 24 hours to spare, we'd suggest grabbing your morning caffeine fix to-go.

Amidst the runway-rush, a lunch in Soho is a safe bet. Head to Rita's for a modern American take on bistro classics. Let the veg do the talking here and order the BBQed corn on the cob served with a good ol' slathering of Meco chile, queso and sesame. The fun doesn't end on the catwalk!

London is positively teeming with spots to grab a chilled grenache or sparkling pét-nat. An hour or two at Goodbye Horses is never a bad idea. It's the new, trendy spot for low-intervention, self-proclaimed "friendly wines" and some outfit inspo, no doubt.

At dinnertime, a trip to Camille is a non-negotiable. Here, the unwaveringly cool crowd prolong those LFW blues, as they tuck into some of the finest French food in London. If there's ever a time for a potato pavé, Cervelle de Veau or cockles (Biarritz-style), it's now.

End LFW with a bang. Dance the night away at Brilliant Corners. Who said getting groovy couldn't be sophisticated? Sip a wild rosé negroni or perhaps a sesame old-fashioned, before grooving to their "travelling sound system."

Seize the moment! What better occasion to don a floor-length Gucci leather coat or shell-embellished capris. Head to the West Archive to hunt down vintage designer pieces dating way back to the infamous Y2K.

No question, a whistle-stop 24 hours in London can verge on tiring. What better way to get those endorphins kicking, to get the heart pumping and those muscles stretched than a low-intensity, highly-effective reformer Pilates class?

A fresh manicure, HydraFacial or perfect blowout can make you feel like a million dollars. That's why we like to pop by Linnaean for our daily dose of beautification when we need to be camera-ready.

Though LFW revolves around clothes, don't let 24 hours slip by without a visit to at least one of London's cultural hubs. Head to Shoreditch's finest, Hales Gallery, for contemporary art inspo and an ever-so-cool aesthetic.

Wild swimming. Natural wine. Excellent exhibitions. And glorious country walks. These are a few of our editor Hannah Rees-Middleton’s favourite things. Whether she’s bouncing around Mexico, paddling through the Kenwood Ladies’ Pond or ogling another mound of butter at a fabulous supper club, Hannah is always in the midst of something cool. A consummate planner, a lover of beautiful things, a traveller never without a camera and a deck of cards. Hannah is many things (including the perfect resource for perfect travel tips).
