A family affair, Flora is a cosy spot to grab some brekky before your day's adventure, or settle down for lunch and dinner. With only a small network of local suppliers who source the fish, meat, and forage, grow, and harvest the veg, you can be assured that the food is as is fresh as it gets. Take a walk through the beautiful Trelowarren Estate to round off your perfect meal. 

Cocktails, natural wines, small plates, and ice cream all accompanied by some groovy tunes. Little Palais is a bar and bottleshop that we could easily return to time and time again. With vinyl night every Thursday, if you're in Cornwall, this is not one to miss. 

St. Eia is where the locals and tourists alike seem to flock. Most likely due to the fabulous atmosphere, and terrific low intervention wines. To top it all of the small plates are utterly delectable. It's a wine bar, coffee spot, come bottle shop - so even if you're not in the mood for a class of wine at the time, pop by and purchase a bottle for later.

Though Cornwall isn't short of a wine bar or too, Lovetts is something special. With a charming atmosphere, head here for some great natural wines or craft beer, all accompanied by bar snacks and charcuterie. Treat yourself to a cocktail or two if you're in the mood, their Gimlet (made with four parts gin, and one part lime cordial) is really something to write home about. 

You've never tasted veg so fresh, nor so good, as the dishes served at Crocadon Farm. Take the kohlrabi dressed in green tomato and lemon pepper, or the black walnut, blue hyssop and kale - it is all so delicious. All produce is sourced and grown on the land, and the bread freshly baked. It's a fine example of how food and farming should collaborate for both the environment and for the flavour.  

Having just reopened, we're eager to return to claim our favourite coffee fix. Their home baked goods, and focaccia sandwiches are also just exceptional. 

When you're so close to the sea, it is only natural to crave seafood. The Rocket Store is the place to go; scribbled on the small blackboard menu, the dishes change daily depending on the catch of the day. 

Temple is one of those spots that is so aesthetically pleasing, whilst also being ultra tasty. Call in for lunch, or try out their tasting menu - either way you'll dine on delicious food, fresh from local farms, and lovingly prepared by the family-run establishment, that is Temple. To top all of this, they serve mighty fine wines. 

Though the main event may be the pork at Padstow Kitchen Garden, vegetarians don't fret as there is an abundance of fresh vegetables and fruit that are freshly harvested each day. Join the farm for a feast - the Lobster Lunch is not one to miss - or for a cooking course, where former Rick Stein head chef, Ross Geach, can take you through your paces. 

Quench your thirst, listen to some funky tunes, and boogie on the beach. Surfside Polzeath, despite its modest exterior, serves up to 90 various types of rum, which are concocted into various cocktails. The perfect way to end any beach day.
