Nine suites make up the refuge that is Capella Lodge. Beach-shack vibes, chic interiors and unfathomably, incredible views make this the paradise that it is. Treat yourself to a stay in the Makambo Loft, where a heated plunge pool overlooks Mount Gower and Lidgbird. 

One tasting menu, one serving time. The Cellar opens for only 12 guests per evening, curating an intimate dining experience. Beginning with pre-dinner drinks, before leading you on a culinary adventure: this is Scottish dining like no other. Langoustine thermidor beignet, salt aged duck, and an optional scottish cheese trolly (a must for us!) - you want to be one of those 12! 

Put your tasting menus and fine dining aside and behold Britain's national dish, fish and chips. Though admittingly you can find such chippy's in every town or city, Anstruther Fish Bar is one of a kind. Have it the traditional way: haddock and chips, some vinegar and salt, served with a load of mushy peas and white bread (for the chip butty of course)!

Indulge in some cumbrae oysters or cured catch of the day surrounded by a carefully curated selection of Scottish artwork. It doesn't get much better than that! The Dory Bistro & Gallery is one of those zero fuss, zero frills haunts which makes you want to become a local, if only just to dine there!
