Behind its Belle Époque façade, Le Grand Bellevue blends original mouldings with pattern-happy wallpaper and lavish fabrics. The spa is a destination in itself, but the hotel’s real pull lies in its confident design, smiling service and central village setting. Launched in 2022 with a stellar Damien Hirst exhibition, Gagosian sits along the historic Promenade and hosts museum‐level shows by artists from the gallery’s global roster. Regularly changing artworks often reflect the seasonal themes of the town. The space itself is restrained and architectural, designed by Rémi Tessier, who designed
the brand’s Paris outpost and London’s The Emory hotel.

On the promenade by the ice rink, Charly’s is a village favourite.
