We know that any relation of Bar Montan is going to be worth a mention, and boy were we not disappointed. Deliciously good coffee, matched by an ever-so enticing atmosphere. When the sun is out, sit on the terrace and join the Swedes soaking up the rays. 

Swedish for the 'sun', SOLEN has the same power to brighten up all our days, or nights as this case has it! With small plates to start, - think tiger's milk ceviche, crusted squid with salsa macha - various pizzas and tacos to nibble on, before embarking on the large plates. The food is unbeatable, the atmosphere remarkable. This is a spot that we'll keep on returning to. 

Bar Montan is yet another hot spot in the industrial Slakthusområdet. With its dimly lit lighting, wooden decor, and concrete walls the interior is a design-fanatics haven. The food is also one for the foodies: with a concentrated menu, though there's not so much to choose from everything tastes just superb! 

Bageri Kompass may be in the suburbs of Stockholm though it's causing quite a stir in the cities vast, bakery scene. Open until sold out (a regular occurrence, especially at the weekend) pop by for a freshly-baked loaf and a magnificently flaky croissant that could whisk you back to the streets of France.
