Masterminded by Carole Bénazet and Frédéric Lagarrigue, of Département Féminin in Toulouse, this harbourfront shop is stocked with high-end womenswear and menswear for summer days with a mix of major luxury designers such as Loewe and Jacquemus and smaller, independent brands like La Veste and Flabelus.  

On a narrow lane in Cadaqués old town, Lua bucks tradition with its yellow shutters and the menu also takes a non-classic route with flavours that span Asia, the Middle East and the Mediterranean. The menu is always changing but if the gazpacho is there, don’t hesitate to order it.  

This sliver of pebbly beach on the far western side of Cadaqués harbour is a reliably calm cove for a swim. With lovely views looking back on the town, you can easily pitch up for a morning or afternoon here with a blanket – just pack an umbrella for shade.
