Positioned perfectly harbourside for a view back across the whitewashed town of Cadaqués, Talla’s cooking is just as good as the outlook. Here just-off-the-boat fish and seafood is paired with market vegetables and the menu puts a playful spin on the tapas classics. 

Masterminded by Carole Bénazet and Frédéric Lagarrigue, of Département Féminin in Toulouse, this harbourfront shop is stocked with high-end womenswear and menswear for summer days with a mix of major luxury designers such as Loewe and Jacquemus and smaller, independent brands like La Veste and Flabelus.  

A Cadaqués institution since 1978, this Lebanese restaurant in the back of the old town was a past haunt of Dalí himself and the artist even designed the logo. Still run by the same family all these years later, it's a trip back in time visiting this restaurant in a former 16th century oil mill that’s filled to the brim with antiques and has a lovely flower-stuffed courtyard.  

On a narrow lane in Cadaqués old town, Lua bucks tradition with its yellow shutters and the menu also takes a non-classic route with flavours that span Asia, the Middle East and the Mediterranean. The menu is always changing but if the gazpacho is there, don’t hesitate to order it.
