Fridges are practically overspilling with funky-labelled wine bottles and skin contact inventintions. So while we love heading to Masa Vins to get our drink buds tingling, we can also never resist a bite or two to eat. From decadent pistachio sundaes sprinkled with candied pistachios and molten chocolate to the savoury pumpkin gnocchi served with garlic emulsion and blocks of parmesan. There's good reason this living-room spot is chock-a-block from open to close. 

Casa TAOS is one of our favourite spots for a healthy brekky and a gloriously brewed coffee. If you're passing by for lunch the salads are also a must. You can even treat yourself to a midday vino!

Tucked along the pier in Barcelona, Nuara is the kind of seafood spot you wish you had at home. Dinner only – because this place deserves your full evening. Start things off with a welcome glass of prosecco, then choose a fish from a glistening platter of the day’s catch – though everything is impossibly fresh. Sides include juicy mussels, cauliflower blushed pink with beetroot water and zingy salads. Nuara is an inviting minimalistic spot, filled with chatty waiters, happy noise and locals laughing over seafood and wine. This place is the perfect spot to take your parents or friends, where everything feels elevated yet easy. 

Not only is the Mercat dels Encants located in a building that all architecture aficionadas will admire, it is also home to one of the largest flea markets in Barcelona. Bring a few bags and have your hunting goggles at the ready, there's treasures to find!
