Since 1928, Al Pompiere has been a Roman staple, perfecting their craft ever since. While they are famous for many dishes, their standout is the oxtail. 

This famous refined seafood restaurant by Giovanni Micalusi is sometimes all that we crave. Romantic, dim lighting makes it the perfect date night spot. Pick up some freshly caught fish before you go. 

Just a short amble from the Trevi Fountain and you'll come across this bistro-style restaurant with great ossobuco and fantastic fish. Order the great selection of raw seafood and the cheese cake with wild fruits. 

A fusion of Italian and Japanese cuisine might be unexpected, but Bistrot64 pulls of the pairing exceptionally. Following the changes of the seasons, all menus reflect produce and ingredients at their peak. 

When in doubt, we think it's best to order the namesake dish at any restaurant. Although, at Dal Bolognese, you have a few more than one to pick from, so why not get all of them? 

Nearly a hundred years later, Due Ladroni is still known for its exceptional quality and stewardship. For wine lovers, their privately managed cellar is a haven. 

Talk about a restaurant that has it all. From countless different pizzas to a separate focaccia menu, Emma is the perfect spot for a casual lunch or dinner. 

Though moderation may not be a term applied at Enoteca L'Antidoto, we're not at all mad about it. Order the wine by the bottle (no glasses allowed) and settle down for a merriment of small plates, vinyls and a terrific atmosphere. 

Set within the lovely Villa Laetitia, Enoteca La Torre takes inspiration from the surroundings to guide the ever-evolving menu. The food is indisputably exceptional (it holds two Michelin stars for good reason), though it's the wine cellar, which has been curated since the 1980s, which is the real highlight. 

Farinè la Pizza knows exactly what they do best and they stick to that. Featuring a menu of pizza only, this is the perfect spot to share a few with friends, or keep it all for yourself - we won't judge. 

While many restaurants in Rome and across Italy might consider cacio e pepe as their signature, Felice a Testaccio certainly stands apart in our book. Be sure to check the menu for each day's specials!

With new concepts on the traditional dishes, Glass Hostaria has earned their Michelin star for unique and creative reinventions. Inspired by Chef Bowerman's travels and international cooking experience, Glass incorporate unexpected flavor profiles that are set to wow.  

While Il San Lorenzo is a joy to dine in any night, for their delicious pastas and seafood, we recommend dining in the private room downstairs, built into the foundation of del teatro di Pompeo. 

Great food, great wine. What more could you ask for? If you're on the hunt for some classic Roman dishes, then Lagana is a good find. 

If you're hungry after a visit to the Pantheon and after a good, though not too touristy lunch, pop by Maccheroni for some homemade delicacies made with the freshest, seasonal ingredients. 

Going back to the roots of cooking, Marzapane uses only contemporary techniques in their kitchen to deliver simple but delicious meals that focus on the taste of the ingredients. 

A true Roman restaurant at it's best, Osteria Chiana serves all of the classics you know and love in their most authentic form. With a rotating season menu, every dish will always be fresh and delicious. 

A true Roman osteria tucked away in Trasteverre. Enjoy their quaint patio that lines the piazza, order a primi and secondi and live like a local. 

A  seafood restaurant on an idyllic square that we love for their super fresh oysters and seafood pastas. All seafood exclusively is sourced from local fishermen; making it a perfect place to celebrate a special occasion. 

This elegant traditional Roman trattoria is one of our favourite spots in the city. Dress to impress, as the clientele are as fabulous as the food. We recommend ordering their specialty: the Carciofi alla Giudia.

You'll find this unassuming restaurant tucked away on a quiet street. Featuring handwritten menus to reflect the selections of the day, Ristorante La Campana always delights with a wonderfully traditional dining experience. 

You can't miss the large, neon green sign of Nino. A famed spot since 1934, the legacy of this spot is unmatched. Make sure to order a plate of their Tuscan white bean speciality. 

Although this place can be considered quite casual in comparison to other restaurants in Rome, you will still spot a celebrity or important political figure at the table next to you. No surprise there, considering how delicious this trattoria is!
