Englischer Garten

As soon as the sun comes out, all of Munich ends up in the Englischer Garten. It's the perfect place to stroll in the sun with coffee in hand and people-watch. There's even a beer garden, Japanese teahouse, Greek temple and Chinese pagoda.

In Munich's largest park, the Englischer Garten, there's lots to do and in true Bavarian fashion there are one or three beer gardens as well. Though the Chinesischer Turm might seem out of place, it's all german when you sit down at one of their communal tables.

This is one of our fave spots for brunch, when we had too much fun at a beer garden the night before. Located at the edge of a lake in the English Garten, this cute gem is perfect for some local dishes in the sun. And if you haven't gotten enough of the Bavarian beers yet, they have a beer garden as well!

If you come all the way to Bavaria, you just can't miss out on at least one Wiener Schnitzel. One of our fave places in town is Kaisergarten. Make sure to try their Kaiserschmarrn as well for the true experience.
