Le Bar du Sube is a secret bar hidden away from all the noise & craziness on Saint-Tropez. They serve delicious cocktails and have one of the best harbour views in town. We also love it for a classic French breakfast.
With views overlooking the iconic Old Port of Saint-Tropez, Hotel Sube is conveniently located in the heart of the the village hub. Designed for travellers seeking the front-row bustle, the mast and sea-framed views make up for the lack of a pool. The interiors our timeless, with an authentic Provençal charm – think wooden beamed ceilings, brown leather chairs, open fireplaces, and lots of intricate, sail boat sculptures.
Harry Teneketzian has been making ice cream on the port since 1988, churning every flavour fresh each night to be ready for the first customer. The crèmes glacées take liberties, like a tarte tropézienne with actual pieces of dough, but the sorbets are the ones to order. The fig sorbet is so dense and fruity that the word institution feels legitimate here.
The red chairs are the first thing most people see from the port and probably the last thing they’ll remember about Saint-Tropez. Sénéquier opened as a bakery in the late 19th century, added the terrace on the port, and the town’s entire story played out in those chairs. Bardot sat here. Colette sat here. Come early, order strong coffee and an orange blossom brioche, and watch the port come to life.
This charming little cheese shop almost seems stuck in time. They have all of the delicious classic specialties - cheese, of course, but also smoked fish, homemade jams, fresh pasta... you'll be clearing out their shelves in the blink of an eye!
