Vergenoegd Löw is a historic wine estate outside Stellenbosch, founded in 1696. Every wine in the range expresses respect for heritage and traditional ways of farming for vineyard health and sustainability. The estate is famous for its flock of Indian Runner ducks, which are used as a natural pest control in the vineyards. You can see them 'at work' during their morning and midday parades. 

Translating to “sanctuary” in Afrikaans, Toevlug lives up to its name as a calm, vineyard-framed restaurant on Annandale Wine Estate. Led by chefs Bertus Basson and Drikus Brink, it centres on seasonal, produce-driven South African cooking – generous, comforting plates best ordered to share.
