Never has the Archipelago been more alluring: head here for your luxurious escape into nature. 

We get it, you may just want to call in to the Lineadombra for the views, though the food is also equally sensational. Idle over a slow lunch, vino in hand, looking out onto the lapping Venetian lagoon; with the Giudecca in plain sight this is really the Italian dream. 

The Rialto Market may be a tourist hot-spot, but if there's only one stall we urge you to visit, it has to be the Peschiera Fratelli Da Vio. Langoustine, scallops, sardines, and seabass - whatever catch of the day you fancy, you're sure to find the freshest pick here.

It doesn't get more Venetian than this. Head to Piedàterre for the original Venetian slipper. From velvet, embroidered, canvas, and so many more, once you've found the perfect fit you're never going to want to wear another sort of footwear again. They're labelled slippers for a reason!

Waking up, and getting out of bed is made a whole lot harder when your bed is fitted with Jesurum Venezia 1870's linens. Although, we guarantee, it also makes your sleep ten times better. With a few spots dotted around Venice, the interior designs and craftsmanship at GIOBAGNARA is superior to most. Stepping into this store, designed by Stéphane Parmentier is an experience for itself. With ratten, travertine, and the finest leather, stop by some inspiration, or if you can't resist, treat yourself!
