L'Appartement 4F in New York is a charming bakery where artisanal craftsmanship meets delectable pastries. Their Internet-viral croissant cereal is their crux, but their raspberry chocolate ganache has us coming back for more!

Captivating the eclectic romance of downtown New York, this boutique hotel is located in a former bank complete with details that will wow any architecture lover. Feel at home away from home at Nine Orchard in your gorgeous and comfortable room. Don't forget tot have a drink at the famed Swan Room cocktail bar. Also, don't expect stiff white-gloved formality that luxury hotels tend to have in the city, here it is all about cool, chill, yet still attentive. 

Agi's Counter is an all day eatery, come bakery headed by Jeremy Salamon. Influenced by Jewish and Eastern European cuines expect the likes of confit tuna melts, palacsinta (Hungarian crepes), and nokedli soup. If you happen to be in the neighbourhood on a Friday, pop in to the bakery for a taste of Linzer torte. And if you aren't, it's so good we recommend you make the trip. 

Fried chicken and the largest champagne list in America: it may be outrageous, but it's damn good, and the atmosphere is unrivalled. It's a simple concept, but COQODAQ has mastered it. Go for 'The Bucket List' and try some of the juiciest, and crunchiest fried chicken you've ever tasted. Or, spice it up with 'The Golden Nugget' where a humble nugget is topped with ocean trout roe, or golden daurenki caviar. 

Serving Counter Culture coffee, Gotan café will provide you with that much needed caffeine fix before you head out onto the bustling streets of NYC. If you're in need of some brekky, they serve the classic scrambled eggs, and avo toast but with a Middle Eastern twist. 

We'd go back time and time again if we could. The Noortwyck has perfected the art of the dining experience. With the warm, dimly lit room, a terrific atmosphere, a wine list that tickles everyone's fancy, and food...where do we even begin! From the striped bass served with wild mushrooms and saffron gnocchi, to the halibut with celery root and black truffle, it's all just so scrumptious. 

What is not to love at Estela. This intimate bistro is one of the most celebrated and beloved restaurants of New York City. The service is fabulous, so is the food and so are the vibes. Head here for a wonderful dinner you won't soon forget. 

Always buzzing and wonderfully fun, The Nines is a great party spot in lower Manhattan. Either make a late reservation for dinner and stay after for a drink and a dance or walk in and grab a booth to get your night started. Get dressed up and enjoy the music and drinks. 

If you are people watching in Union Square or taking yourself on a walk, casually stroll for a few more blocks and you will end up sat in Claud with a red wine glass in hand. This gem is a fun place that serves exquisite dishes and wines inspired by what is being served in the trattorias of Positano and the German bistros. They are a capsule of Europe in the heart of NY, so, if homesick, head to Claud for some escargot croquettes. 

Affogatos, sundaes & soft serve–just a few of our favourite things. At Caffé Panna they change their delicious ice cream flavours daily, so you never quite know what you'll get. But one thing is guaranteed: it's delish ice cream all the way.
