Located above Saanen’s private airport, this compact exhibition space pairs serious contemporary art with a spectacular view over the landing strip. Shows are
concise and focused, often featuring photography or large‐scale works, including collaborations with major international galleries. Its unusual setting makes it ideal for a short visit before take‐off or during delays, turning travel time into an unexpected cultural pivot.

David Mallett is the answer to solving all those bad hair days: his philosophy is to ensure that hair stays beautiful long after you walk out of the salon doors. Though, you may not want to actually leave the salon at Notre Dame des Victoires. Located in a Parisian style apartment, the space is luxurious, yet relaxed, and decorated with an enviably good decor.

The first beer importer of French and Belgian beers in Milan, Civitelli, planted its first tap in the centre of La Libera in the 1980s. Italo Manca and Gino Narducci since transformed this beer house into a homely parlour. Now the focus is as much on the beer as it is on the food; munch on typical Milanese cuisine with that iced-cold half. 

A glass of Italian bubbles to welcome you, a selection of appetizers to begin, a bowl of Spago Milano and a Milanese secondi to finish. Though leave room for the "Masuelli" Tiramisu. This is the agenda for an evening well-spent if you ask us!

Homely and utmostly traditional. Ristorante Nuova Arena is an age-old culinary tale of Milan since 1982. Serving seasonal, Milanese classics, there's nowhere else we'd rather indulge in a spaghetti al cipollotto. 

Pierre Touitou, adding to his already glaringly golden Parisian enterprise of Vivant and Déviant, opened 19 Saint Roch. Located conveniently on the Rue Saint-Roch just meters away from the Pyramides metro stop, this newest venture remains loyal to its former Japanese restaurant roots with an open kitchen taking centre stage. Oak wood furniture lines the walls, bars and cabinets offset the monochrome tiled flooring and the stainless steel counter top becomes the prime sitting area for the best views upon the kitchen. On the menu? A steak tartare garnished with capers, chives and seasonal flowers; a fried daikon cake with a dollop of green pepper mayonnaise and a miso-vanilla ice cream soaked within a sweet rhubarb puree. Exquisite. 

A glowing red LED light hangs precariously from the window ledge, setting Augustin apart from its fellow Saint-Germain relatives with a bright, luminous glow: small, intimate and remarkably cosy. A spontaneous visit doesn't come with much luck so instead, book your table well in advance for the chance to sip, nibble and dine on one of Paris's most divine happenings. From heart cheese platters, zucchini flowers stuffed with a citrus, ricotta filling and truffle covered gnocchi, the food is exceptional. But really it's the wine that hits the spot. With 900 bottles to choose from you're sure to find perfection. 

Jaïs Mimoun and his brother Janice can only be described as the power duo; having opened Jaïs they also put a drastic spin on the classic bistro. Tucked away in the thriving 7th, distinguishing your typical tourist trap from truly authentic French fare can be tricky. Though the blue fronted, Thonet stool scattered terrace of Jaïs follows the Parisian code, inside is a heavenly affair of mahogany beams, white-covered tables and art deco light shades. The food is an explosion of flavour: there's crudo made from fresh shrimp, a langoustine tartare piled high upon a creamy chickpea straciatella and slow-roasted mushrooms served with a parmesan cream and candied egg yolk. So whilst, vegetarian (or at least pescatarian) options are numerous, as with most bistros it's the carnivorous platters that are well worth the feasting.
