At this incredible sushi spot in the heart of Ginza, every piece of sushi is carefully crafted in front of your nose by master sushi Chef Yoshitake. It's almost impossible to get a reservation here, so it helps to deliberate with the concierge of your hotel!

This has to be just about the cutest cinema we’ve ever seen. De Uitkijk is an iconic 1920s arthouse theatre with just one screen. But that one screen? Well, it shows some of the best films out there, from cult classics like Midnight Cowboy to more recent independent movies. There’s no popcorn here, so we like to sneak in our own snacks to nibble on with a glass of the house red.

While at first glance this may seem like any old brown café, we can assure you that Café Welling is actually so much more. Despite its humble appearance, Café Welling is a true scholarly round table, as many creatives & intellectuals have been meeting here ever since it opened. It’s also a wonderful spot to sip a beer after a classical concert at the Concertgebouw.

Caffè Santa Zita is a charming café with a terrace overlooking the San Frediano Basilica. It's the perfect place to start your day with a good cappuccino and a homemade cornetto.

Usually when a beach club has a restaurant, you end up with overpriced, mediocre food; but luckily, Gilda Beach Club and Restaurant breaks that mould. This beautiful beach club has an excellent restaurant–so excellent, in fact, that we've been known to come here more than once in one weekend.
