Take an afternoon strolling around this lively market. The small shops sell everything from handcraft jewelry, pottery and textiles. This is the place to buy traditional Mexican handcrafts. 

It's not all the time we come across a restaurant with just so many accolades: headed by the reclaimed Elena Reygadas, Rosetta is not only listed as one of Latin America's best restaurants, but also the world's. Expect traditional Mexican dishes served with little twists: such as the vibrant pink mole, with betabel and radicchio, or bean tamales with nopales and avocado. We also have to mention the in-house bakery which rustles up the tastiest sourdough loaves. 

Swing by Lardo pretty much any hour of the day and we assure you the place will have a buzz. Head over for a sandwich for lunch, but if you're in the area for aperitivo hour then we highly suggest you go for a glass of wine and an freshly fired pizza. 

Designer India Mahdavi has created the chicest of chic places to draw up home when in CDMX. Think minimalist, though flirting with a little funk (take the leopard print chairs, or zebra velour sofa). If you ask us: the highlight has to be the roof terrace.
