Nestled in a quaint corner tavern with a charming tin ceiling, Achilles Heel is the epitome of a gastropub. Offering a delightful array of gastropub-style small plates, house cocktails, and brews, it's a cosy haven for the fine-tasters.
Take your book as Rhythm Zero is just the place where you'll want to sit down to enjoy your oat milk latte. Channelling a coffee culture and art philosophy, this is the place to go for your 'morning rise.'
Serving the very freshest of seafood, game, and plants in a wood-fired kitchen, Ilis's passion behind cooking is felt from the moment you enter. The waiters are chefs and vise versa, the kitchen forms the heart of the warehouse space (the tables merely surround it), and the ingredients - sourced nearly exclusively from the North America - essentially become part of the interior design. This is fine dining in a whole new realm.
This warm, wood-accented Spanish bar specialises in exquisite cocktails, amari, sherry, and conservas meant for sharing. For something sturdier to hold you over until dinner, go big with the Seafood Plateau (their gorgeous take on an icy seafood tower), the txistorras al vino (Basque-style chorizo roasted in wine), and an order of the sourdough bread. Every cocktail on the list is excellent, but we have a soft spot for the Shiso Painkiller. Get a reservation if you can; this place is always popular.
Mezcal or tequila cocktail in hand, settle down at Oxomoco and be prepared to be wowed. From the tacos to the tostadas, freshly grilled veg and fish is piled on top and laden with salsas, sauces, and so much flavour. Oxomoco leaves you feeling well and truly content!
