There is nothing better than walking around Eastern Market on a sunny weekend day. Take the metro in the morning and make your first stop The Market Lunch in the food court for delicious pancakes and sausage. Then stroll the hall and stands outside for your next vintage find, home decor, or random knick knacks. Finish off with a walk around the neighborhood and look at the cute colourful houses. 

This terrific museum is part of the Smithsonian Institution and is dedicated to advancing knowledge and understanding of the Native cultures of the Western Hemisphere — past, present & future.

A museum filled with so many beautiful pieces that one visit just won't be enough. Each time we return here we are overwhelmed with the sheer amount and beauty of the art they have. Dedicate an afternoon to it and feel inspired.
