Tucked away in Newquay behind an unassuming frontage, this pintxo bar has a Basque accent and a Cornish soul. Inside, the space is pared-back but stylish; the plates are small but clever and full of the the freshest local produce. Sip a Vesper Martini or a house-made blackberry spritz and graze your way through a sharing platter or two.

From coral pasta, scallops, and dulse seaweed to Cornish bluefin tuna steak served with olives, tomatoes, and capers to a side of roasted courgette, ele cheese (from no other than another of our favourites Padstow Kitchen Garden), you can bet that the food is nothing but fabulous. A great ambience, with some stellar cocktails to go with, DuchyGrub is a small gem on this magnificent coastline.
