Pyra is the latest addition to the charming Lonsdale Road near Queen’s Park. This Greek and Spanish fusion restaurant brings together the best of both worlds (chorizo with tzatziki—hello!) with incredible fish, meat and vegetarian dishes. It truly feels like a love letter to the Mediterranean. Small, intimate, and serving excellent food, it’s the perfect spot for a great evening. Plus, it also offers a private hire event space—perfect for your next birthday bash!

Don't Tell Dad is a neighbourhood haunt that seems to have perfected the art of pretty much everything. Bakery by day, open kitchen and bar by night, this sibling-led venture is a top-notch spot. The artichoke, sage and lancashire pain suisse rivals the buttery, crispy croissants found only in France, though it's the dinner menu that has us tantalised. 

A Hampstead institution, Jin Kichi is one of only a few real izakaya-style restaurants in London. And though the sushi is good, regulars are here for the yakitori counter where chefs dish out pork and shiso-leaf skewers straight from the fiery grill. Tiny, but always fun.
