The Amsterdam outpost of this hip, international chain is just as cool & thoughtfully decorated as the rest. The rooms are (relatively) reasonably priced, & there’s a gym, movie theatre & rooftop pool to make your stay all that much more exciting.

This lovely spa is small, with only six treatment rooms, so be sure to book ahead if you want to get a spot. If you’re feeling extra indulgent, you can book the Relax & Refuel, which includes a massage & a two-course lunch at Cecconis, every Tuesday & Thursday.

If we’re honest, we’d say that Amsterdam is far better known for its museums than for its galleries. With that said, there are a few galleries that never fail to impress us with their well-curated exhibitions. One such gallery is the Grimm Gallery. We adore its sleek, minimalist interiors and its terrific collection of contemporary art. Pop in and take in the latest exhibitions. Are you further afield?
