There’s something truly magical about Vuurtoreneiland, so although it can be difficult to get a reservation, it’s totally worth the effort. After boarding a boat (complete with snacks & drinks), you arrive to a stunning private island complete with a lighthouse for a thoughtful set menu & gorgeous wines. Before you settle in for your meal, spend a few minutes exploring the island in the hopes of catching sight of the sweet lambs scampering across the grass.

This quaint distillery is buried so deep inside Flevopark that many locals don’t even know about this gem. It has a lovely terrace for when you want to sip on a few 'biertjes' in the sun.

Although it's situated in hip and happening Amsterdam Noord, Lazuur rejects the obsession with newness and leans into simplicity instead. They serve delicious food and wine, nothing more.
