Bacaro is the younger brother of Xemei, the food is just as tasty though it's the spot for a more low-key, less indulgent Italian feast. Taking all the elements of traditional Venetian cooking and fusing them with some more modern twists; the carbonara is tossed with fish, and the squid ink risotto infused with mayonesa de plancton. And boy it just works!

Ask for a spot at the bar, order the Koy tasting menu, and watch the chefs work their magic. Could this be the best Japanese in town? Quite possibly. At least our trusty gloobles friend, Troy Koltes thinks so. 

Tacos, sopes, tostades and a good serving of guac; El Pachuco is the spot to go to for a jolly good Mexican feast.  Not only is the food great, this taquería also happens to be one of the best mezcalería's specialising in tequila based cocktails, mezcal and of course iced cold cerveza. 

While the rooms are minimalist, sleek, and meet the mark, the real magic of Grand Hotel Central lives upstairs. Tucked away on the top floor is a handpicked antique, wood library curated by the hotel owner – step inside and you’re in a whole other world. But the real showstopper? The rooftop. In a city full of rooftop bars, this one stands out: pool and sunbeds on one level, a sleek lounge and bar just above. Come for a sunset dip and stay for an early dinner of tapas and wine.
