Coffee or spritz, morning or evening: Bar Tripoli is an all-year round hive of activity. Though queuing for a table isn't a rarity, it's definitely worth the wait. 

When a foodie heads to Ponza, chances are they've head of Acqua Pazza. From polpo seared with fresh mint from the garden, carpaccio di gamberi to the signature tagliolini di gamberi rossi cotti e crudi (hand rolled pasta ribbons doused with shrimp). It's a Michelin-starred spot for a reason. 

This spectacular beach with a narrow crescent of silky sand at the base of a towering volcanic rock wall curved in a half-moon shape is one of the most scenic spots in all of Italy.

Though it may have a serious lack of online presence a trip to Da Enzo al Frontone is a must. Bright yellow table decor offset with rafia canopies, panoramic views and freshly grilled seafood; what's there not to love?
