If you've filled up on food & are jonesing for a bit of culture the Galleria Estense is the perfect spot to while away a few hours taking in beautiful Old Master works. 

Quite possibly the pinnacle of haute cuisine, Osteria Francescana is world-renowned for good reason: Italian classics reimagined in creative & superbly delicious ways. Book well in advance, as it's the most famous Italian restaurant in the world it not surprisingly gets booked up!

When we think of Italy and its food, this is the type of place we would want to imagine. A family run affair, rustling up grandmothers' recipes and preserving the traditional cuisine of Modena, this is a tiny restaurant (only 4 tables hosting 24 people) but ran with a huge amount of passion. Open to book for lunch, though dinner is only open on request in order to serve a true personalised menu.
