Amazing views, delicious food and excellent service. We could not recommend this Taverna Marina more. As one of the oldest tavernas on Hydra, first opening its doors way back in 1963, Marina has more-than perfected the menu. For all the classical dishes, this should be your go-to. 

Lounge on the sparkling sand, head to the bar for your routined frappe, before lunch on the terrace for a Mediterranean feast. Don't expect the usual Greek delicacies. Instead, Castello rustles up scallops with a jerusalem artichoke soup and a calamari tagliatelle with a kaffir lime sorbet. What's not to be missed? The Greek salad topped with Andros's delectable volaki cheese. 

A taverna situated on the waterfront with a grand terrace for the perfect sunset viewing. Expect the freshest of food and seafood grilled to perfection. 

Hike up the hill to this beautiful monastery. When you get there, they have a small shop with organic produce, fuel up to get energy for way back!
