Sick of the French bistros? Head to Ama Siam for something different. They have delicious Thai food and a great wine selection.
An intimate wine bar with an extensive list of wines, mostly natural and biodynamic. They also have great options for charcuterie and cheeses.
A gem of a restaurant. This eatery is bustling with people looking to try their delicious stir-fries, noodles, and desserts. If you cannot get a seat here, try their next door Ama Siam.
Named after the nearby Place du Combat, this cool cocktail bar is the perfect place to sling back a cocktail or two by bartender Elise Drouet. We particularly like it for dates, if you're in the market.
Belleville's beloved bistro Le Cadoret, sandwiched between the Rue Pradier and Rue Rebeval junction, is another of the Pyrénées cohort of good eats. However, it is here that the siblings Léa and Louis Fleuriot packed up and handed the bar de quartier to the trio behind the infamous, and neighbouring, Buttes Snack Bar. Where the tiled, mosaic floors, mahogany wood tables and zinc countertops remain, the walls are now licked in a glistening, glossy white paint and neon-orange lamps are bolted into the walls. On the menu? A €25 "en formule" for the midweek midi and á la carte on the weekend full of buttery, saucy French exquisiteness. The sticky toffee madeleines are not to be missed.
