An extremely good tiny neighbourhood bistro, if you can even call it that. Almost impossible to get a reservation, so plan in advance, as the Michelin Star exists for a reason. Have a glass of wine before dinner at Frenchie Bar à Vins across the street.
The name Frenchie is pretty hallowed in Paris & for good reason, but this lovely wine bar from the Frenchie family is just as delightful as the rest.
The cocktail duo, Alex Frances and Barney O'Kane, behind Little Red Door in the Marais, invited Adam Purcell to the kitchen of De Vie's burgeoning empire. The result? A restaurant and bar that is shaking Paris's culinary landscape. Dimly lit interiors are contrast to the bold and beautiful statement vases, the floral bouquets by opm florist and the bespoke serving dishes; the food follows a seasonal agenda and the cocktails run off a no-ice policy. This is fine dining transformed into a casual, easy-going and local hub.
If you catch your reflection in one of the mirror-lined walls of Chez Georges once, we can bet you'll be ogling them again and again and again. One trip here, and it's a confirmed instant classic. Great bistro-style dishes, friendly staff (for Paris anyway!). Parfait!
