This hyper modern opera house was designed by Danish architect Henning Larsen. Their programme is seasonal so be sure to check their website, or just amble over to admire the architecture. 

This harbour-side restaurant not only serves great Italian food and wine, but has an on-site sauna too! It's a treasured place of the locals season-round, where you can take a dip when its warmer, and on colder days jump in the sauna.

A creative workshop and ceramicist Niko June, the name behind aluminium boxes, rubber-sheet vases, and borosilicate canteen glasses, has opened a multi-functional showroom and hangout on Copenhagen’s Papirøen. Built with recycled materials and architect Kim Lenschow’s leftover samples, this fresh cafe is stacked with colourful glassware, thick cutlery, and artfully loaded shelves. Grilled tuna and bean salads arrive on steel plates and coffee is poured into stackable stoneware mugs. Flowers spill out in bouquets across the large wooden, communal tables, and large windows flood the space with light. It's a calm escape from the Nyhavn chaos.
