Nothing much can rival a stellar kitchen and deli hybrid. A place where you can take blue and some fresh produce to-go, or hop upon a wooden stool and tuck in to the daily specials. A quiet oasis on an otherwise bustling Godthåbsvej, Auren's Deli does just this. Gourmet groceries are piled high in one corner, though it's the central, wooden bench that takes centre stage. It's here that the dishes, using mostly if not all local produce, are rustled up. From simple sandwiches, sharing dishes to mighty flavoursome plates all washed down with a glass of wine or elderflower kombucha, it's a neighbourhood favourite. 

The Cisterns is one of the four cultural experiences at the Frederiksberg Museums that is an absolute must see. Descend into the cavern-like staircase to find the breathtaking former water reservoirs that remind us of an underground cathedral - now home to multiple immersive art exhibitions.

Sometimes there is nothing better than a big hearty bowl of authentic Japanese ramen, and we think kōnā & Slurp Ramen have some of the best in Scandinavia. Besides ramen, we suggest ordering a table full of side dishes like their katsu or yakitori chicken!

When the weekend rolls around, particularly come the spring and summer, Copenhagen's streets transform into bustling hives of flea markets. From farmer's markets, children-focused sales, pre-loved furniture havens to simple closet clear outs, a list is published at the beginning of the week for where to go, when to head and guides to shop. Det grønne loppemarked, nestled on the square between Jaftvej and Rantzausgade along the green cycle path, is no exception. Here, amongst the rails of CPH's coolest garments, are plant-based food stalls, a conversation lounge, a chess space, book exchange, workshops, tarot readings and a mental health corner. It's a whole day occasion.
