Bardin is definitely one of our favourite cafes in Antwerp thanks to its freshly brewed coffee and delicious breakfasts and lunches. The fresh herbs that feature on their menu come from their very own lovely little garden where you can sit and enjoy your meal on a nice day.
The Finch takes Belgian classics and turns them on their head with a little Asian twist. The dishes here are perfect for sharing, which is ideal when you want to try a little of everything.
Beni Barnatan, founder of the now iconic Beni Falafel, moved to Antwerp in the late 1960s. With a devoted fandom of the crispy, golden falafel-stuffed pittas, Beni's has not moved further than a few metres down the same street since its opening in 1968. Though it's since been taken over by family, the same recipe prevails: 24-carat pita breads are cast-iron tossed, the hummus remains silky smooth, and latkes (crispy potato pancakes) remain a counter staple.
