This hallowed sushi spot in the Tsukiji fish market in Tokyo serves up the freshest sushi & sashimi that is honestly to die for. Make sure to go very early (we're talking before 5am - we know, but it's so worth it!) just before it opens to get the best first batch of fresh fish.

For a taste of Tokyo's iconic premium wagyu katsu sando, head to the Osaka-founded, Grill Bon, where deep fried beef tenderloin is coated in panko breadcrumbs, dipped in a curry sauce and sandwiched between fluffy white bread. Queue for a countertop table during lunch and dinner servings or, to avoid the queue, get it to-go.

Acclaimed sushi chef Sawada and his lovely wife serve up a chef's choice menu, or Omakase, in their tiny sophisticated bar. Having earned two Michelin stars, we can ensure nothing but delectable tastes and vibes!

This is a wonderful representative of Tokyo's terrific sushi, but can unfortunately be wildly expensive. Here's a tip: go in around lunchtime, prices are more affordable!
