This tiny but lovely atelier by Ko Kado is well worth a visit. With beautiful and intricate stationery using original printing blocks the decoration paper is simply stunning. A master of his crafts, call into this studio simply to admire and marvel at his works. 

If you're looking for soba in Kyoto there are few better spots then this unassuming but impressive restaurant; though be sure to be on time since their homemade soba noodles usually sell out. The 'Rough-ground Soba' is grinded by hand, and served with oodles of love. Sit out on verandah, glass of sake in hand, and escape from the bustle of the city.
