Everard Read is known for being Africa's oldest commercial art gallery. It has always focused on modern and contemporary painting and sculpture from South Africa and abroad. Keeping a dynamic turn of shows and artists, the gallery strives to expose a huge range of fine contemporary painting and sculpture to a broad audience. 

Both art museum and research centre, the Norval Foundation studies and showcases art from Africa and its diasporas in the 20th and 21st century. There is so much to see and explore here, including a stunning sculpture garden and amphitheatre that are found in the indigenous gardens. Not to mention, you can experience this entire museum with South Africa's beautiful landscape as its backdrop.
